Founder & CEO

Michael Day was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA, the youngest of six children. Growing up in Pittsburgh’s south side neighborhood and spending time on the northside with his extended family, Michael was involved in several recreational, educational, and fine arts programs. Michael was extremely gifted in music and has had a successful career as a musician for artists both nationally and internationally. Michael believes the activities and programs that were available to him as a child, were vital in keeping him out of trouble and helped develop him into the man that he has become. He attributes much of his success in music and other areas of his life to the skills he learned in those community programs; skills such as: discipline, setting goals, being a team player, respect for oneself and others and leadership.

Now as a leader in the community, Michael Day, also the Pastor and Founder of Legacy International Worship Center, has taken on the responsibility to provide more opportunities where young people can learn those same skills and have experiences that will develop them into successful professionals, family members and leaders. Through Legacy Community Options for all People, Pastor Day understands the importance of  and is committed to providing support and resources to the youth, the parents of these youth and all other individuals in the community. Through Legacy Community Options for all People, Michael Day is committed to creating options and opportunities that will develop, enrich and empower all individuals, families and communities to live a wholesome life.
